Bottom-ranked Brujos (0-9) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 96-74 loss to third ranked A.Lobos (7-1) in Izalco on Tuesday evening. But it was rather predictable considering how strong their opponent was. It was a great evening for Marc Montavious who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 13 rebounds. Anthony Gathings responded with 20 points and 4 steals. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the fifth consecutive win for A.Lobos.
